<\/p>\nThe GoWiWi Attack Strategy isn\u2019t really anything new in Clash of Clans, but more players know about it than every before. In this advanced guide, I\u2019ll explain what you need to know to make this strategy a success for you.<\/p>\n
GoWiWi is among the most powerful troop composition setups in Clash of Clans, and the core troops are Witches, Golems and Wizards. When you use this strategy, you can attain two stars from every base your approach.<\/p>\n
We usually use:<\/p>\n
Troops. Three Golems, Four Witches, 10 to 15 Wizards, 5 to 7 Barbarians, 10 to 15 Archers, 12 to 22 Wall Breakers.<\/p>\n
Clan Troopers. All Wizards or Golems.<\/p>\n
Spells. All raids are different, so choose what\u2019s best for you. All spell types work with this strategy, so don\u2019t worry. Do your own thing.<\/p>\n
When at Town Hall 9, I used 3 Rage spells and 1 Lightning spell. Now at Town Hall 10, I\u2019ve gotten good results with 2 Rage spells, 2 Freeze spells and 1 Lightning spell, a combo that works well for dealing with the Infernos.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s your game, so make changes depending on which base you\u2019re attacking. Use the Archers and Barbarians for luring Clan troops. Use Wallbreakers for your ground attack strategy since they provide the best time to reach inside the core. A Lightning spell can be used for clearing Clan troops. A Rage spell works great to help you get into the core as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n
So how do you choose which bases to attack?<\/em><\/p>\n If you\u2019re using Hogs to attack, you need a compact base. But GoWiWi is just the opposite, so you need a village that\u2019s spread out. Your Golems and Skeletons need space to breathe (if you\u2019re looking for a strategy for a tighter base design.<\/p>\n How do you attack with the GoWiWi Strategy?<\/em><\/p>\n It takes an elite player to be willing to move forward with this strategy. And you have to know a few things before you mount an attack. Second, choose a side with at least one Hero to attack. Consider attacking from the bottom because you have more control that way and can see your see your troops better. Drop in some Archers and Barbarians as a shield first, then send in your Witches from the corner. Send some Wizards to wipe out the Heroes.<\/p>\n Then bring your Golems into the conflict, deploying them one at a time on the right or left side. Follow that with 2 or 3 Wallbreakers next, and don\u2019t forget about the Mortars \u2014 they can easily kill your Wallbreakers if you aren\u2019t careful. After the Wallbreakers, drop in 6 or 7 Wizards. Repeat the same strategy of play on the other side. Get rid of outer buildings quickly. Then when the path is clear, bring in the Witches, the Wizards and your Heroes. Use Wallbreakers to reach the core quickly. Then drop your last several Golems when the defense buildings begin attacking the Witches.<\/p>\n When your Golems are inside, use a Rage Spell and the remaining Wallbreakers.<\/p>\n Once at the core, use another Rage spell for increasing the speed of your troops. Use a Freeze spell if necessary when there are Infernos present.<\/p>\n And that\u2019s it.
